Pre-Primary
At Fatima High School, Ambernath, we believe that the foundation of lifelong learning begins in the early years. Our pre-primary section provides a safe, caring, and stimulating environment where little ones learn through play, exploration, and creativity. NIOS
Inclusive Education, as a philosophy of the school, has been implemented for more than 15 years now.
The move to seek accreditation with National Institute of Open Schooling is an extension of our Inclusive education programme. Those children who are not able to cope with the load of the regular curriculum are offered the option of completing their school education through the NIOS stream.
The NIOS examination is equivalent to X and XII board examinations. As there is flexibility in the choice of subjects and a time period of 5 years to complete the course as a whole or in parts, many children of our school and others are able to complete their school education and move ahead.
In the past 25 years, around 2500 students have successfully completed their X/XII through our NIOS program. The NIOS section of the school runs with the help of a small team of our dedicated teachers and volunteers (majority of them are our own students' parents). They are indeed 'making a big difference' and strengthening the vision and mission of the founders of the School.
Timing:
- Monday to Friday - 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
